TWG BIO SUMMARY
- Jason Thiriot, Natural Resource Analyst,
- Colorado River Commission of Nevada
- (Alternate) Mr. Thiriot has been an employee of the Colorado River Commission of Nevada (CRC) since 2002, working in the Natural Resources department. The CRC, based in Las Vegas, Nevada, is responsible for protecting and managing southern Nevada’s Colorado River water, power and environmental resources. In his capacity with CRC, Jason also served as the Assistant Hydro Power Program Manager working specifically with billings, contracts, power trading, long-term planning.
- Mr. Thiriot is a University of Nevada -Las Vegas and Dixie College graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, along with continued education in environmental sciences. In addition to participating in the GCDAMP, he is a member /representative in the Lower Colorado River Multi-Species Program, Colorado River Basin Salinity Control Program, and other associated efforts. He also served in the U.S. Army Intelligence Corps from 1997 to 2002. He is actively involved with volunteer work with the Boy Scouts of America, and wetlands restoration projects in the community.
