  • (M) Michael Yeatts (Hopi Tribe) has a Master’s degree in archaeology and has been involved in Southwestern archaeology since 1985. His employment with the Hopi Cultural Preservation Office began in 1991, focusing on the Hopi Tribe's involvement in the Grand Canyon Dam EIS. During his tenure, he has been involved in development and implementation of the Hopi Tribe's ethnographic, archaeological, biological and monitoring research.
  • He was a representative of the Hopi Tribe on the writing team for the Glen Canyon Dam EIS and has been involved in the Adaptive Management Program (AMP) since its inception.
  • He currently serves as the Glen Canyon Dam Adaptive Management Work Group alternate for the Hopi Tribe and also as the member on the Glen Canyon Dam Technical Work Group representing the Hopi Tribe.
