James deVos, Arizona Game & Fish Department

Mr. deVos has been professionally employed in wildlife conservation organizations for 40 years, including both agency and private entities. More than 34 of those years have been with the Arizona Game and Fish Department in progressively responsible positions of field biologist, state biologist, Federal Aid program management and 20 years supervising the research program including both native and sportfish programs. His skills range from technical to policy level analyses and decision-making. In addition, Jim has spent considerable time working with a wide variety of issues related to the Colorado River and water distribution in the American Southwest and Mexico. He is currently serving as the Assistant Director of Wildlife Management with Arizona Game and Fish Department. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in the field of Wildlife Management with educational background in both terrestrial and aquatic systems.
