Ted Rampton, Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems

Ted is government affairs manager of Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems (UAMPS) representing 37 municipal electric utilities in Utah, Arizona and Idaho. He has been involved with issues surrounding Colorado River since 1976 when he began employment with Intermountain Consumer Power Association (ICPA), a single purchasing agency selling Colorado River Storage Project (CRSP) power to member municipal electric and REA cooperative systems serving areas of Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, Nevada and Arizona. He has been actively following the Grand Canyon Studies since 1989, participating in meetings of the Glen Canyon Dam EIS and the cooperating agencies.

Ted served as secretary/treasurer and president of the Colorado River Energy Distributors Association (CREDA), whose membership is also deeply involved in Glen Canyon Dam issues.

Ted graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Weber State University, and is an honor graduate with distinction from Brigham Young University's Masters of Public Administration Program.
