Peggy A. Roefer is a Natural Resource Analyst for the Colorado River Commission of Nevada (CRC). She is responsible for providing technical and administrative support to the CRC for management of its water and power resources. Peggy actively participates as the CRC representative in programs such as the Lower Colorado River Multi-Species program, the Glen Canyon Adaptive Management Program, and other water quality forums in Southern Nevada. She works with federal, state, county and city agencies, consultants, conservation groups and Native American tribes to assist in the protection of the Colorado River, and the rights and interests of the State of Nevada. Previously she worked for 30 years with the Southern Nevada Water Authority, most recently functioning as the Regional Water Quality Manager. Her duties included facilitating local and regional water quality meetings, supervising professional staff, reviewing technical documents and overseeing water quality monitoring programs in the Virgin and Muddy Rivers, the Las Vegas Wash, and Lakes Mead and Mohave.
