Bill Davis, Colorado River Energy Distributor's Association

Mr. Davis is Principal of EcoPlan Associates, Inc. He is a fisheries/aquatic biologist and water quality specialist with over 46 years of experience. He has represented various state and federal resource agencies and private user groups in protracted negotiations to achieve coordinated, cooperative conservation plans for sensitive fish and wildlife species, throughout the Colorado River basin and the west. Mr. Davis has managed environmental assessments, prepared permits, conducted field monitoring, and managed water quality planning and nonpoint source planning studies. He has played a key role in the development and implementation of various environmental laws and regulations, primarily in the field of water quality and aquatic habitat protection and enhancement, and has helped numerous clients achieve compliance with these laws and regulations. As part of these activities, Mr. Davis has conducted public participation and information programs, including public hearings, meetings and workshops.

Mr. Davis has represented CREDA on the Upper Colorado River Endangered Fish Recovery Implementation Program’s Biology Committee, as well as on the Glen Canyon Dam Technical Work Group as well as being an alternate on the Adaptive Management Work Group.
