Eric Bobelu, Pueblo of Zuni
Mr. Eric Bobelu is currently serving on the Zuni Tribal Council. He graduated from Zuni High School in May 1996. From 1970 to 1982, he was employed with the Zuni Language Development Program as a Zuni Language Specialist and developed reading material in the Zuni Language. As the Language Specialist, he also taught high school and lementary students how to read and write the Zuni Language. From 1978 to June 1982, he served as the Director of the Language Program. He received his Associate of Arts Degree from the University of New Mexico in 1982. He retired with 25 years of service from the U.S. Postal Service in 2007.
