Prior to that he served as a consultant to the Colorado River Energy Distributors Association (CREDA) from April 1995 to May 2001 and from July 2003 to 2010. From February 1989 until April 1995 Mr. Barrett was Executive Director of CREDA, and directed the activities of the Association whose members represent over 125 customer-owned electric utilities in the states of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, and Wyoming. Prior to that he served as a consultant to the Colorado River Energy Distributors Association (CREDA) from April 1995 to May 2001 and from July 2003 to 2010. From February 1989 until April 1995 Mr. Barrett was Executive Director of CREDA, and directed the activities of the Association whose members represent over 125 customer-owned electric utilities in the states of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, and Wyoming. He has over 32 years with the Bureau of Reclamation and his first assignment was in the Denver Design Office working on the design of Glen Canyon Dam.
