BLUE RIBBON

  • The Glen Canyon Dam Adaptive Management Program changed the way we reference “Blue Ribbon” via the Desired Future Conditions document.
  • The reason behing the change was becuase of the varied understanding on what a Blue Ribbon fishery defination contains. (Blue Ribbon means different things to different people)
  • Currently it is called and refered to as “self-sustaining recreational trout fishery”. [Page 10 of 16
