Joe Miller, Federation of Fly Fishers and Trout Unlimited

Joe Miller is mostly retired but serves as a consultant with the PQR Group. He has concentrated on the application of TRIZ – the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving – for technical and business problem solving and innovation. He holds a B.A. in Physics and an M.S. in Bioengineering. He resides in Payson, Arizona, and is involved in several fly fishing, fisheries restoration and conservation initiatives. He is on the board of Desert Fly Casters (Chandler AZ) and is currently the president of the Gila Trout Chapter of Trout Unlimited, the Central Arizona vice-president of the AZ-TU State Council, and is the Arizona state representative on Trout Unlimited’s National Leadership Council which sets TU’s National Conservation agenda. He also represents TU on the 4FRI Stakeholders Group and on the Arizona Sportsmen for Wildlife Conservation.
