What Should Other Stakeholders Know About US?
  1. Southern Nevada is 90% contingent on the Colorado River. Our water portfolio is not very diversified.
  2. Our community has made significant conservation achievements.
  3. Our community lead the nation in population growth for many years.
  4. CRC's energy portfolio only consists of 5-7% CRSP/Glen Canyon hydropower--- the majority is Hoover, Parker-Davis power.


  • Q: What is the CRC / SNWA connection? A: The CRC is a State authorized agency responsible for securing and protecting Nevada's rights and interests in the Colorado River and in electric power generated by the river. The SNWA is polictical subdivision of the State of Nevada and is responsible for addressing Southern Nevada's water needs on a regional basis. The CRC and the SNWA work cooperatively to effectively manage Colorador River water resources for the State of Nevada and water users in Southern Nevada.
